We’ve had a huge response to our kitchen after @threebirdsrenovations posted. 👌Here are all the answers to your questions so you can recreate this space yourselves 👌💕
Kitchen: The kitchen includes a 2.8m curved island bench, integrated appliances and a cabinet that has 2 x bifold doors that pull back to reveal a bar area. This area is used to store our kettle, toaster, mugs etc. We chose to use curved shelving in this area so that we could use it as a prep area without hitting our heads on the shelving.
Our islands bench is created using @porta_timber Riviera panelling. Our kitchen installer sprayed this using the same system as you would if you were to spray a kitchen. The colour is vivid white. Under our island bench, we have an integrated dishwasher, a bin drawer that has double pull-out bins with handles and an additional cupboard for storage. We do not have any drawers in our island bench as we wanted all panels to look symmetrical.
Behind the kitchen we have a butler's pantry. This is where we store our microwave. We included 2 x timber shelves in this space to link with the kitchen and break up the white.
We chose to use stone as a splashback in both the kitchen and butler's pantry as opposed to tiles as we find stone much easier to clean and don’t particularly love grout lines.
